And it was interesting to see how he works, how meticulous he was. And I always admired what he did. Like I say, I was interested in some of the radical guys that were pioneering or beating the brush, you know. It was at the Allegro, out here in Jersey, on Route 46. That’s the Allegro, the former Tap-A-Keg.” Ruppli’s Prestige Discography incorrectly locates this session in NYC. Same date as Andrew Hill Blue Note session. |
