Research Comments: | Macero remembers overdubbing saxophone parts on this session: “It was crazy – a hilarious experience. There were five lines in there, and I played tenor and alto. I don’t think I played baritone on that. But five lines – you know, you put the tape on one machine, you record on one, you take that out, put it on another tape recorder – ping-pong, more or less – till you get the five tracks down. Oh, I was busy.” |
