Research Comments:Kenny Burrell: “[Rudy] recorded me acoustically several times at least. And he did a wonderful job of recording my guitar, both steel string acoustic and nylon string acoustic. Nylon meaning more like the classical guitar. And the steel string is just a steel string guitar, either with a hole in it or an f-hole. Either way, he also worked very closely and, to me, very seriously, with trying to get the sound that I wanted. [The album Guitar Forms] – that’s a perfect example.”
