Research Comments:	This informal jam session was one of many that took place at the Van Gelder home during the late 1940s. Most of these are undocumented and never resulted in commercial releases. Some of the participating musicians received acetate copies on 78 rpm discs. A cassette tape copy of this session was provided to me by Howie Mann in 1999.
