Research Comments: | World Wide releases carried the line, “Recorded specifically for stereo.” Also a paragraph on: TECHNICAL DATA: This recording was made at the studios of Rudy Van Gelder, using Telefunken microphones, and was recorded on specially designed Console and Ampex tape recorders. Mastering for stereo was made on the specially designed cutter made for Mr. Van Gelder by Fairchild Recording Equipment Co. on the 45-degree standardized system. Pressings are made on 100% pure vinyl. The manufacturer recommends the use of standard RIAA curve for best reproduction. |
