Research Comments: | See May 19, 1954. In his liner notes Ira Gitler says “‘The Infant’s Song’ was dedicated by Gigi to James Gordon Weinstock, son of Prestige’s pres. Bob Weinstock. James was born on May 21, 1955.” A note in the Prestige files indicates that this session was originally scheduled for May 24, but was postphoned due to the death of Rudy’s grandfather (Simon Cohen). |
