Research Comments:The second Blue Note session recorded in stereo. This album and all subsequent Blue Note sessions done by Van Gelder were recorded in both monaural and stereo versions. Not all albums, however, including this one, were originally issued in stereo, since it had not yet been determined that stereo would become a viable option. Ruppli’s Blue Note Discography (both editions) says Evaristo Baso, Sarah Bavo. CD liner notes (from original album) have names as above, and point out that Sarah Baro is Mrs. Evaristo Baro.
