Research Comments:	The day before this Sunday session, Rudy was honored as the subject of a panel at the 30th annual convention of the International Association of Jazz Record Collectors. The event was held in Teaneck, New Jersey, the nearby town in which Van Gelder had his optometry practice in the 1950s. The panel was moderated by Bob Porter and included Gus Statiras, Michael Cuscuna and Rudy himself.
